"It was incredibly fun and genuinely challenging. It was a really interesting learning experience, a really rich one.
I got to work with levers that I wasn't familiar with, like Open Innovation and Corporate Venture Capital. Getting to see the ups and downs of them, when they might be most appropriate and when they might not be as appropriate (as we found out in the last session). The levers were one of the cooler parts of the simulation, and a great way to stretch your imagination in terms of what is possible and what you can do with it.
For me, taking part in Strategy Quest hasreally stretched a wide range of skills: creative thinking, strategic decision making and navigating complex information under pressure -while at the same time having this freedom to experiment and to take risks.
So having experienced this mindset definitely helps for making strategic decisions at work.
It's a hugely rewarding experience. And I would recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their strategic muscles."
